An installation for Riverworks 6, Hoosic River Watershed Annual Riverfest, Williamstown, MA, May 1997
Hoosic Circle used wood and stone in the shape of a seed to create an airy chamber on the banks of the Hoosic River. A path of white river stones emerged from a quiet eddy of the Hoosic River to form a circle on a sand and gravel bar. A double circle of arced maple saplings arranged in ascending height followed the path of stones from the river to the circle.
